In this activity (10th activity on the page) about the sense of touch, learners make Braille letters out of cork or cardboard and map pins. Learners test to see if they can identify the letters of the alphabet by feeling the blunt ends of the pins with just their fingertips. Use this activity to teach learners how blind people use their sense of touch to read.
