In this activity, learners try to blow up a balloon hanging inside of an empty bottle. Although it seems simple, learners will be surprised to discover that they cannot do it, not matter hard they huff and puff. Use this activity to demonstrate that air takes up space, even though we can't see it. [Activity is publicly available through a web crawler capture on Archive.org.]
