In this interactive game, learners listen to the songs of four different thrushes and then try to match each bird with its song. Many people consider thrushes the most beautiful-sounding songbirds in North America. Birders describe their songs as “airy,” “flute-like” and “haunting.” Each species of thrush has a distinctive pattern to its song. This sound activity requires speakers or headphones.
