In this design challenge activity, learners explore the concept of biomimicry by using a natural organism's special features to design a new human object. Learners choose from different organism and human invention info cards, then sketch or design new biomimicry mash-ups. Includes design worksheets with nature and human object photos, and inspiring videos that showcase example projects. A Spanish version of the activity is also available.
