In this environmental health activity, learners investigate their breathing and pulse rates, and learn how these measurements are affected by physical activity. There are three parts to this activity. Part 1 can be integrated into a mathematics or art lesson on symmetry. In parts 2 and 3, learners collect and graph data. This lesson guide includes background information and bilingual (English/Spanish) handouts.
