In this activity, young learners will make their own flower seed nursery in an egg carton. After planting their seeds and tending to their nursery daily for about a week, learners should begin to see plant stems poke out of the soil. Through this hands-on activity, learners explore the concepts of seed germination, photosynthesis, and bee's role in pollination. Activity includes a "what's happening," "vocabulary," and "tips" section to explain scientific content and important safety information.
