Learners observe the outside and inside of raw chicken eggs, record descriptions, and hypothesize what will happen when a facilitator drops an egg on the floor. Learners may be surprised when a facilitator drops an egg and it turns out to be hard-boiled. As an extension, learners can investigate raw and hard-boiled eggs to determine differences between them. This activity focuses on the processes of science.
