In this activity, learners experiment with the Stroop Effect by challenging themselves and others to try and read a list of colors as quickly and accurately as possible, with a twist. The Stroop Effect shows what can happen when our brains gets competing instructions. This activity includes step-by-step instructions, suggested experiment extensions, and a section that explains the science behind what is happening in our brains during the experiment.
