In this activity, learners discover how sweating makes us feel cooler. Learners put on one damp sock and one dry sock and sit in front of a fan. As the water in the damp sock evaporates, it makes that foot feel cooler. Use this activity to talk about evaporation and temperature. Safety note: learners should keep their feet away from the fan blades!
