In this activity (page 10 of the PDF) learners will explore the historical progression of siege weapons to gain an understanding of how the addition and modification of parts can change the efficiency of catapults and trebuchets. They will identify the basic parts of the various machines. Although this activity was created as a post activity for a work shop about levers, it also makes an excellent stand alone activity!
