This is a quick and simple demonstration about reflexes (second activity on the page). During a discussion about the brain and nervous system, the educator slams a book on a table to create a loud noise. Then, the group tallies the different responses or reflexes (i.e. twitching, screaming, etc.). This activity is one of several activities featured on this webpage related to human reflexes.
