In this physics activity (page 4 of the PDF), learners will explore how similar magnetic poles repel one another. They will rely on linear induction to race magnets around a simple course. Although this activity was designed to be used after a visit to a museum exhibit about electricity, it also makes an excellent stand-alone activity.
