In this activity, learners follow clues to find five puzzle pieces, then assemble them. This activity works well with a whole group, individuals, or families. Everyone needs a “Piece It Together” list containing five clues. Each clue leads to a location at which you’ve hidden a puzzle piece. Base the clues on sizes, shapes, and distances in the space/room. (For instance: Count 15 floor tiles from the front door of the room. Look 10 inches above the floor.) Once learners have found the puzzle pieces, they assemble them to find a healthy recipe or secret message. The activity comes with an easy and a medium/hard Piece It Together list that you can use or adapt to your surroundings. [Activity is publicly available through a web crawler capture on Archive.org.]
