In this activity, learners make their own encrypted code to pass along secret messages using a printable cipher wheel. Learners explore mathematical concepts and create their own simple algorithms to encode and decrypt messages to their friends and family. Includes a step-by-step instruction guide with pictures, examples of cipher algorithms to practice with, investigative questions to expand learning, and a section that explains the math behind the activity.
