This activity (located on page 3 of the PDF under GPS: Farm Animals Activity) is a full inquiry investigation into raising livestock. Groups of learners will each pick an animal they might like to raise, make a chart of the various needs and costs associated with raising that animal on their imaginary farm. The group then makes a master chart of all their animals’ data and discusses. Relates to linked video, DragonflyTV GPS: Farm Animals.
