In this physics activity, learners explore how sound is created by vibrations. They make a "buzzer" out of a rubber band, a craft stick, and an index card, then whirl it overhead, observing the noise that it makes. To take it even further, they can experiment using different sizes of rubber bands, index cards, and sticks.
